Smoothie Bowl


I love smoothies and a lot of mornings, that is what I have for breakfast. Instead of drinking them, sometimes I make a smoothie bowl. It’s actually so yummy that I will even make this as a dessert. It takes on the consistency of soft serve, but power packed with goodness! To make:

  • 1 frozen banan
  • 1 cup frozen berries
  • splash of almond milk
  • 2 oz. Ningxia Red
  • Protein Powder {optional}
  • Toppings {chia seeds, nuts, granola, coconut etc}


Add frozen berries and banana to a blender and blend on low
Add a bit of coconut or almond milk and protein powder (optional), and blend on low again, scraping down sides as needed, until the mixture reaches a soft serve consistency
Scoop into 1-2 serving bowls and top with desired toppings (optional).
